The ten Homocord matrices reproduced on this CD very probably represent the sum total of published Amato recordings on this label. Both the 1973 discography by The Record Collector and various LP and CD reissues (e.g. on Discophilia and Symposium) list different takes and dates, but all copies inspected are from the matrices remastered here. Also, the abovementioned reissues on modern media contain the same performances, even though some of the dates and take numbers listed on their covers differ from ours, which are given exactly as they appear on original master pressings.
One further Fonotipia recording (xPh 2509: "Buona Zazą" with piano accompaniment) was allocated a catalogue number (X 62178) and possibly issued. However, we were unable to find any copy of this recording.
